Day by Day in Detail
Day 1: Into the bush
Take a morning flight from Johannesburg to the airport closest to your lodge — about an hour — where a ranger meets you. By lunchtime you are on your deck looking out over the bush. Your first afternoon game drive ends with sundowners as the sun sets and the night sounds begin.
Days 2–3: Safari days
A typical day: coffee and rusks before dawn, a three- to four-hour morning drive tracking lion, leopard and elephant with your ranger and tracker, then a hearty brunch.
